ANDREA M. BECKFORD, ESQ

Ms. Beckford, an Associate Attorney, focuses her practice on civil litigation, including the representation of various public-entity based clientele, real estate based transactions (both residential and commercial), public and private sector employers, as well as employees in employment-related disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Beckford served as a judicial law clerk for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex Vicinage. Thereafter, Ms. Beckford practiced in the realm of civil insurance defense.

Ms. Beckford received her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Psychology from Le Moyne College. While attending Rutgers Law School, Ms. Beckford was an Articles Editor for the Women's Rights Law Reporter.  Ms. Beckford's article, We Need Equal Cheers for Boys and Girls: How the Absence of Cheerleaders at Women's Sporting Events Is a Violation of Title IX, was published in Volume 26 of Tulane Law School's Sports Lawyers Journal.

Ms. Beckford is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar.
